Marlington’s Layne Graffice has received Division IV All-Ohio first-team honors from the Ohio High School Volleyball Coaches Association.
Graffice helped lead the Dukes to the state tournament for the second straight season and their first championship match . She led the team in kills with 522 (5.4 per set) and blocks with 35. She owns Marlington records for most kills in a season and career, finishing with more than 1,000 in her career. This is the second straight year Graffice earned All-Ohio honors.
The Dukes were defeated by Cincinnati Roger Bacon in the title match . They finished the season with a 27-2 record, and won 25 straight matches before the loss in the state finals. Marlington went a combined 51-6 the last two seasons…
