Man accused of stabbing New York bouncer to death arrested in Northeast Ohio

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WJW) — A wanted fugitive accused of fatally stabbing a New York bouncer was arrested in Youngstown on Wednesday.

The stabbing happened inside the Garden Bar and Grill on Graham Avenue in Brooklyn on Feb. 10.

According to U.S. Marshals, the bouncer was trying to help a female coworker, who was caught in the middle of a fight with patrons at the bar.

As sister station PIX11 previously reported , the bouncer, identified as 61-year-old Laurence Hopkins, urged for the group of men to, “relax, chill out,” when he was stabbed in the neck…
