Who’s leaving Chief Wahoo stickers all over Aurora?

AURORA , Ohio (WJW) — A mystery has been unfolding in Aurora over the past three years.

According to police reports obtained by FOX 8 News, hundreds of stickers of Chief Wahoo , the mascot of the Cleveland baseball franchise when it was known as the Indians , have been placed on signs on private and public property and even at the Aurora Post Office.

David Ludick and his parents own homes in one of the neighborhoods where the vandal has been active. Ludick told FOX 8 News, “these Chief Wahoo stickers kind of pop up everywhere and the first one we saw was on a no-parking sign in front of our driveway.”

Ludick said he caught the Wahoo fanatic in the act as he was putting up another sticker on a sign in front of his parents’ home that they had already cleaned off several times. Before the suspect fled in his car, Ludick was surprised to see that it was a man in his 60s, who was wearing a distinctive jacket…
