YSU pushes Syracuse to brink in double overtime loss

SYRACUSE, NY. (WKBN) — Youngstown State men’s basketball went on the road and nearly pulled off the upset off Syracuse in a 104-95 in double overtime loss at the RMA Dome on Saturday.

YSU guard EJ Farmer led the team with a career-high 26 points on 9-of-18 shooting, while Nico Gallete finished with 21 points and 7 rebounds. Ty Harper added 17 points as well.

YSU entered the game with a 12.5-point underdog but quickly jumped on the Orange and maintained a 38-31 lead at halftime…
