2 New Haven Men Found Guilty Of Drug Trafficking Offenses

BRIDGEPORT, CT.- On Thursday, December 19, 2024, following a trial before U.S. District Court Judge Stefan R. Underhill, a federal jury found Luis Salaman, also known as “Bebe,” 42, and Jesus Seguinot, also known as “Chuchi,” 34, both of New Haven Connecticut guilty on multiple counts of Fentanyl Trafficking.

According To The U.S. Attorney’s Office

According to U.S. Attorney Vanessa Roberts Avery and evidence presented at trial in October 2021, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Safe Streets Task Force uncovered that Salaman was distributing large quantities of illicit controlled substances throughout the streets of New Haven, Connecticut.

Investigators further uncovered that Salaman worked with Seguinot and others to distribute deadly fentanyl. Beginning in November 2021 and lasting through March 2022, investigators made multiple controlled purchases of distribution amounts of fentanyl from Salaman, Seguinot, and their associates…
