‘Frustrating’: Investigators want stricter laws against animal abuse in Iowa

MUSCATINE, Iowa (KWQC) – Authorities and advocates call on Iowa lawmakers to enact stricter laws against animal abuse.

In the latest animal neglect case in Muscatine County, a total of 90 animals have been seized with 10 of them dead.

Kelly Adams, 44, who is charged in this case, is now asking the court to be released from jail after being arrested last week for having animals in her home when ordered not to, as she awaits trial…
