Watsonville Community Hospital Foundation wins Impact Award

The Watsonville Community Hospital Foundation (WCHF) has been selected as a recipient of the 2024 Silicon Valley Business Journal Community Impact Award, which “recognizes organizations that have made significant contributions to the betterment of their communities through innovative programs, impactful outreach and exceptional dedication to service.”

“This award is a reflection of our community coming together to support health care in our region. Hospitals operate on slim margins and when it looked like our hospital may not make it in 2021, it literally took a village to ensure we could continue to provide critical health care services to all, including underserved populations,” WCHF Executive Director June Ponce said in a release. “From county and state leaders to community-based organizations and donors, large and small, people joined us as champions for health.”
