Severe weather potential moves into Central Illinois this afternoon.
Most of the area is under a level 3 enhanced risk for severe thunderstorms. Wind gusts and hail will be the major focus of these storms, with very fast-moving storms expected. Areas east of I-55 will be the main focus today with a better chance for severe thunderstorms.
Storm cells will begin to develop right around noon……
