Susan Cua paints all over the world. But locally, her paintings cover the walls of Coffee Lab, a small Filipino American-owned bakery and coffee shop on Noyes Street.
“I do a lot of coffee shops,” said Cua. “I don’t care about being famous or rich, I just want to paint. Coffee shops sell your work, but galleries sell the name.”
