Dinosaurs? You Bet Jurassic I’m In!
There’s something about dinosaurs that brings out the inner child in all of us. I think it’s because of how truly wild it is to think that these creatures once walked the Earth just like you and me. Not to mention the fact that I grew up in the ’90s when movies like The Land Before Time and Jurassic Park were extremely popular. These movies were so popular that they sparked franchises and still inspire pop culture today.
These days, I’m teaching my 3-year-old son about dinosaurs, and he is obsessed with learning about them (plus it’s the cutest thing ever to hear him try to pronounce the names of the dinosaurs). So when I learned that there was a dinosaur museum in Illinois that was full of larger-than-life animatronic dinosaurs, I had to learn more!
Gigantic Animatronic Dinosaurs Come Alive at Jurassic Gardens
I was scrolling through Facebook and saw a post from Matthew Sheehan TV who shared about a recent trip to Jurassic Gardens, and I had to know more. This museum is located in Volo, Illinois. When you first walk up to the museum, you’re greeted with a grand entrance that looks like it’s out of a movie, and the entrance has a massive dinosaur on each side. There’s also a familiar-looking vehicle out front, too!
