Plans for redevelopment in east Fort Worth’s Woodhaven area got a jump-start Wednesday with the rezoning approval of 150 acres for a mixed-use project that would add housing, retail shops and green spaces.
Fort Worth zoning commissioners approved the plan that includes the shuttered Woodhaven Golf Course. The property was acquired for $8.5 million by Crescendo Development at a May 2024 foreclosure auction. The firm conducted several meetings with neighborhood groups to develop the plan, which includes a nine-hole golf course in the area.
Crescendo, headed by Will Northern, “aims to create a mixed-use community that caters to various housing and business needs, various mixed-use, urban residential, large lot residential homes and portions,” according to the zoning commission agenda…
