ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – A local woman accused of setting fire to several businesses while on vacation in Puerto Rico asked a judge on Wednesday to be released on bond.
Danielle Bertothy, who lives in St. Peters, has been charged in federal court with arson in a fire that destroyed four businesses in the U.S. territory. A judge has not yet decided whether to let her out of custody, but there are other questions about the next steps in the case.
