Potential improvements coming to Kinloch

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – Kinloch was named Missouri’s first Black city in 1948, but portions were bought out by St. Louis City in the 1980s to expand Lambert Airport. Now, efforts are underway to rebuild the area.

Much of the land around Lambert has been littered with illegal dumping, but now the Kinloch mayor and other community leaders are making strides to redevelop.

During a Thursday night meeting, a large crowd of residents showed up to make their voices heard. Many residents expressed concerns about ongoing dumping and a lack of transparency from city leaders…
