I have had the honor and privilege to be a pediatrician in the Clayton and Ladue communities for 30 years, and time has flown by!

Why do I love being a pediatrician? After family and close friends, I likely have the longest-term relationship in a child’s life. Sometimes, as I’m wishing a child good luck in college, I can even conjure up where their bassinet was in the hospital when I met them the day they were born. What could be better than that?

There are two basic questions everyone wants answered, but nobody actually asks, when visiting their pediatrician: “Is my child OK?” and “Am I a good parent?” My job is to offer positive guidance to help my patients and their parents feel comfortable in their health and abilities…
