Inside the lobby at Access Church , a visitor encounters an inescapable message painted in large block letters on a facing wall: “THIS IS HOME.”
Those three words embody the sensation that lead pastors Jason and Lis Burns want anyone entering the space to feel. The word “home” carries extra significance, as Access Church wandered among other sites for 13 years before finding permanence in a converted retail space at Palm Center, a shopping plaza on South Florida Avenue in Lakeland.
Three years after establishing a lasting physical presence, Access Church recently launched a second site in North Lakeland and plans to open a third in Bartow next spring…
