New Britain brewery donating to Hurricane Helene relief efforts

NEW BRITAIN, Conn. (WTNH) — A local brewery is looking to help out down South by raising money for those affected by Hurricane Helene.

Conn. National Guard sends more crews to North Carolina for Hurricane Helene relief

Alvarium Beer Company are taking part in the North Carolina Brewer’s Guild’s “pouring for neighbors” initiative. The brewery will choose one kind of beer and will donate $1 from every draft poured towards helping breweries in the South rebuild.

“It’s amazing, we’ve always believed in charity, it’s one of our values,” Bryan Bugnacki, the owner of Alvarium Beer Company, said. “It’s one of the pillars of Alvarium and it feels great to be able to help somebody in a whole different state, but still within our industry and help our other friend breweries rebuild.”

Alvarium is encouraging other Connecticut breweries to also take part in this initiative…
