HOBE SOUND — Harry MacArthur, owner of Hobe Sound’s landmark restaurant, Harry and the Natives, took to social media late Wednesday night to announce its closing.
In a Facebook video, MacArthur sat at one of his restaurant’s tables and announced that “As of Oct. 12, unless something happens, we will be closing Harry and the Natives.”
The 66-year-old said the restaurant, famous for its long history and its eclectic, often humorous old Florida atmosphere, has been struggling for the past four years…
