HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — A convicted felon from Ohio was sentenced to prison Monday after prosecutors said he pawned a stolen firearm at a Huntington business.

Drew Lamont Scruggs, 48, of Akron, Ohio, was sentenced to two years and three months in prison followed by three years of supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of West Virginia.

Scruggs pawned a stolen .45 caliber pistol at a Huntington business that he later admitted to possessing, prosecutors said…
