Second car in as many weeks stolen from John Glenn airport

COLUMBUS, Ohio ( WCMH ) — A central Ohio man’s car was stolen from the John Glenn International Airport, the second time in two weeks that a car has been reported stolen from the airport’s parking garage.

Last week, a local woman’s car was stolen from the airport parking garage and later found totaled on the side of a road. Now, Darin Harvey is a victim of car theft.

Harvey returned from a vacation on Saturday and was expecting to drive home. He went to level 5 of the John Glenn parking garage where he had parked his Jeep Cherokee, only to find it was not there.

“I mean, they have cameras, they have license tag readers, I’m not sure that they’re maintained or work, that’s my one concern,” Harvey said. “I thought it was in a secure lot. I paid, you know, $23 a day premium. Obviously, I’ll Uber from now on but, yeah, I thought it was secure.”…
