SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) – Hundreds of toys piled up at Baystate Medical Center ready to be given to families in need this holiday season.
Hospital employees delivered unwrapped toys and gifts that will be given to families that employees “adopted” this campaign of giving is all part of an employee-driven toy drive in the hospital’s conference room.
State mapping out maternal health upgrades
An annual tradition at Baystate Medical Center going on for more than a decade. “It’s really fun to be able to provide gifts for children who are less fortunate, who don’t have the ability, their families don’t have the ability to provide for their children, so this gives us an opportunity to do that.”
Two local organizations sponsor the children every year, and this year is no different including the New North Citizens Council and the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center.
