HOLYOKE, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – Western Mass News has received several complaints about needles discarded in parks around Holyoke and recent social media posts led us to get answers.
We’ve learned a whole pile of discarded needles as well as other drug paraphernalia was found here at Rohan Park recently, just feet away from the playground. We spoke with one resident who shares concerns for her children.
“The biggest concern is that they’ll pick it up not knowing what it is and get hurt,” expressed a Holyoke resident. “I had to have a serious talk with my children about how we do not pick up stuff we don’t know.”…
