Wethersfield man arrested in relation to 2023 crash

WETHERSFIELD, Conn. (WTNH) — A Wethersfield man was arrested on Tuesday in relation to a 2023 car crash.

In May of 2023, a police officer arrived to the scene of a one-vehicle crash to find a passenger face-first on the ground in a pool of blood outside of a car with heavy front damage. The victim was unable to speak above a whisper. There was also another passenger in the back seat of the car, who was asleep during the accident, according to the arrest warrant.

Once gaining consciousness, she said that she had just met the driver at a bar in Manchester and only knew him as “Lex.” He had fled the scene at the time of the crash.
