Hanover woman faces arson charges – poured gas on home with children, spouse inside: police

A Hanover woman faces felony charges after she allegedly poured gasoline around the exits to a Penn Township house and threatened to set it on fire, while her husband and children were still inside, court records show.

McKenzie Stachowiak, 32, of Hanover, faces felony charges of aggravated assault, criminal attempt of arson, and risking catastrophe, along with misdemeanor charges of endangering the welfare of children and terroristic threats, according to charges filed by Penn Township Police on Thursday, Oct. 31, 2024.
