One of the highlights of the New York Comedy Festival so far has been Chris Distefano, who performed three back-to-back sets at three different locations of the New York Comedy Club. He was taking a page from Taylor Swift ‘s playbook, and recording live bits that he performed on previous Comedy Central and Netflix specials, so that he could reclaim ownership of his work. The material will be culled from the Hat Trick shows and released as “Chrissy’s Version,” a nod to his inspiration, on Chrissy Chaos , one of two podcasts that he hosts.
