WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – Wichita Northwest, a perennial power in the Greater Wichita Athletic League (GWAL) and Class 6A has big names in big positions to replace. But the Grizzlies have as much high-end talent as anybody in the state. The 2024 season is one in which Northwest has been growing toward for two years.
“Some of these guys that are juniors right now have been starting since they were freshmen,” Northwest Head Coach Steve Martin said. “This is a group that’s growing up. We’ve had growing pains the last couple years.”
