EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Hundreds of northeastern Pennsylvania children in need will stay warm this winter thanks to a community outpouring for our third annual 28/22’s Coats for Kids campaign.
As part of our children’s first initiative we collected over 600 coats and counting, and we’ll have an official number in the coming days.

Hundreds stopped by to donate at our drop-off sites in Stroudsburg, Scranton, and outside our Wilkes-Barre studios. Some even donated children’s hats and gloves.
The collected used coats will be picked up, professionally cleaned, and distributed to families in need by the Salvation Army…
