After flying high against North Penn-Mansfield last Saturday, Jersey Shore came back down to earth. The Jersey Shore Bulldogs fell 2-0 to the Selinsgrove Seals on Thursday. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Seals are ranked 119th).
Jersey Shore’s loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Selinsgrove, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they’ve won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.
Jersey Shore will square off against Danville at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Selinsgrove, they will face off against Shikellamy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday…
