WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – Happy Halloween! Your First Alert Forecast is toasty again with intervals of sunshine, light southeast breezes, afternoon temperatures peaking in the upper 70s and lower 80s, and trick or treat time numbers mainly in the lower and middle 70s. Sunset is 6:19, so be safe! As few if any showers will dot the Cape Fear radar this Halloween, Wilmington will likely complete one of its driest Octobers on record: only 0.13 inches of rain has fallen since the first of the month.

Your First Alert Forecast launches into November with mainly dry days with 70s and 80s for highs.
