It’s a sunrise (burrito)
The first location of Amanecer, which is Spanish for sunrise by the way, on Shipyard Boulevard is close to my home, so I’ve been there a few times to enjoy the chilaquiles and breakfast burritos. But now I’ll have to go back for more French toast — and the Ranchero omelet. And now that the new restaurant is opened , the Ibarra family is working to open their 10 th Wilmington restaurant. They promise something new and different in the former Applebee’s space .
Forever summer (rolls)
This time of year is sometimes called locals’ summer. And it just goes to show there’s no wrong time to enjoy all that our beach and river communities have to offer, right?
