City Public Works Director Brad Kerr will retire by the end of the year, which will close the book on more than 21 years of total service to the municipality, the city’s Communications, Marketing and Public Relations Department said in a news release Wednesday morning.
“Serving the city of Rocky Mount for over two decades has been a privilege,” Kerr said in prepared remarks as part of the news release.
“As I look forward to the next chapter of my life, I take pride in our accomplishments together, from infrastructure improvements to community projects that have shaped the city,” Kerr said. “I’m excited to watch Rocky Mount continue flourishing and am thankful for the friendships and memories I’ve made along the way.”…
