Wilson woman donating kidney to Episcopal clergy

Wilson resident Antoinette Pinell is answering the prayers of an Illinois priest she has never met in person by giving a piece of herself with the hopes to change his life for the better.

Father Andy Hook of Springfield, Illinois, has been receiving dialysis to treat kidney failure for the past two years. Now, Hook is set to receive one of Pinell’s kidneys after two teams of doctors confirmed the two, who both have Type O blood, are compatible.
