The Texas Longhorns continue to add #BigHumans with the commitment of Grayson (Ga.) offensive tackle Nick Brooks in a Friday announcement.
Texas offensive line coach Kyle Flood continues to build one of the most elite offensive line rooms in the country, with Brooks bringing both ideal size and a high ceiling. The No. 180 player and the No. 14 tackle according to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Brooks was hotly recruited from all over the country, reporting 32 scholarship offers representing every major conference through the process. As a junior, Brooks committed to the Iowa Hawkeyes but reopened his commitment less than two months later. He narrowed his list to three schools, the USC Trojans and his home-state Georgia Bulldogs, as well as Texas — visiting all three during the summer.
