Murder suspect on run from Georgia collared at Northshore motel

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office says it has arrested a man wanted for a murder in Georgia.

The sheriff’s office says they received word Wednesday that 39-year-old Kenneth Hardin Jr., wanted for murder in Fayette County, Georgia, was in a motel in the Covington area.

A SWAT team helped establish a perimeter around the motel off Hwy. 21as deputies moved in. They took Hardin into custody as he exited a room…
