GREENSBORO, N.C. — A Guilford County detention officer will have his weapon confiscated and an investigation will be launched after he accidentallyfired his gun inside the Greensboro jail.
According to a Guilford County Sheriff’s Office incident report, the incident happened Thursday, Sept. 12, around 12:45 p.m. in the men’s bathroom outside the jail’s transportation office.
