YADKINVILLE — Mountain Valley, a local hospice and palliative care organization, recently marked the official opening of its newly renovated Yadkinville hospice office. The facility will enable Mountain Valley to expand its services and continue providing care to the residents of Yadkin County.
At the recent ribbon-cutting event, Mountain Valley staff and volunteers, local officials, and community members gathered to mark this milestone. The renovation was made possible by a grant secured through a collaborative effort involving Bobby Todd of the Yadkin County Economic Development Council and the Yadkin County Chamber of Commerce, and Mountain Valley’s CFO Barry Dowell, according to Mountain Valley officials. The funding includes state funds and a matching contribution from Yadkin County.
“We are thrilled to celebrate this momentous occasion,” said Tracey Dobson, Mountain Valley president and CEO. “This is a huge milestone for Mountain Valley, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support we’ve received from this community. I’d like to give special thanks to Bobby Todd for his invaluable help in securing the grant money that made these renovations possible. Bobby, your dedication and commitment have made a real difference, and we are so grateful.”…
