Four suspects were arrested after a carjacking a 2024 Honda Prologue at gunpoint on Saturday night in Bethesda.
According to Montgomery County Police, “at approximately 9:29 p.m., 2nd District officers responded to 4835 Bethesda Avenue for the report of a carjacking that just occurred. The preliminary investigation has revealed that four suspects stole a vehicle at gunpoint from a victim and left the scene. Officers located the stolen vehicle and followed it to the area of Leland Street and Maple Avenue, where the four suspects bailed out of the vehicle.
Officers established a perimeter and shortly after took the four suspects into custody. An officer sustained minor injuries and was transported to an area hospital. One of the suspects also received minor injuries and was transported to the hospital. This is an isolated incident. There is no longer a threat to the community. This is still an active and ongoing investigation. More information will be released as it becomes available.”…
