FREDERICKSBURG, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) — Rappahannock Electric Cooperative has seen an increase in potential in-person scams in the southeastern portion of its service area.
One REC customer said potential scammers approached them at their home after regular business hours and reported that they were there to read an electric meter. The individuals were not driving an REC vehicle.
