CANTON – Canton is turning over ownership of Thurman Munson Memorial Stadium to the Canton City School District.
With a 9-2 vote, Canton City Council on Monday agreed to a land swap with the school district where the city gains 15 vacant properties and gives the district the two properties that make up the stadium at 2501 Allen Ave. SE. Munson serves as the home ballpark for the McKinley Bulldogs baseball teams.
