SHREWSBURY ― A wrongful death lawsuit filed in Worcester County Superior Court alleges an 89-year-old female resident at an assisted living facility died after being left unattended for over 18 hours following a fall, and that staff members falsely documented making multiple room visits during that time.
According to the lawsuit, Nancy M. McNamara of Northborough most likely suffered the fall around 9 p.m. Dec. 4, 2021. She died about a month later, on Jan. 6, 2022.
Patricia Kasierski and Robert McNamara, as personal representatives of the Estate of Nancy McNamara, are suing LCB Senior Living Operating LLC, doing business as The Residence at Orchard Grove, 258 Walnut St., Shrewsbury, as well as unnamed nurses or service coordinators…
