YAKIMA, Wash. -A suspect is in custody after a high-speed chase and shooting in downtown Yakima on the afternoon of Nov. 14.
Yakima Police ask the public to stay out of the area of Yakima Avenue from 5th Avenue to 3rd Avenue.
According to Yvette Inzunza with YPD, the suspect fired at YPD, but no one was hit and officers did not fire back.
The chase reportedly started at the jail and went down Summitview to 16th Avenue before the suspect crashed into a Roto Rooter truck while going east on Yakima Avenue…
