Man arrested for string of Boardman thefts

BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) — A man with eight separate theft warrants was arrested Wednesday.

Lewis Brown, 35, is charged in eight separate theft incidents reported across Boardman over September and October.

Brown was named as a suspect in the following incidents:

  • Sept. 24: in the 4900 block of Market Street, item worth unspecified
  • Sept. 25: in the 4000 block of Market Street, items worth approximately $90
  • Sept. 28: in the 500 block of Boardman Poland Road, items worth approximately $993
  • Oct. 9: in the 500 block of Boardman Canfield Road, items worth approximately $1,000. Reports state an employee witnessed Brown accompanied by two unknown women in this instance.
  • Oct. 11: in the 400 block of Boardman-Canfield Road. This incident report states Brown was accompanied by an unknown man. When the pair attempted to leave without paying, reports state an employee intervened and took possession of the items they were attempting to steal, valued at $431.
  • Oct. 15: in the 300 block of Boardman Poland Road, items worth approximately $400
  • Oct. 18: in the 4000 block of South Avenue, items worth approximately $180
  • Oct. 18: in the 1100 block of Doral Drive, items worth approximately $886
