Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition to hold Community Conversations on Air Quality

The Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, in collaboration with several other organizations, is asking the community to participate in a series of Community Conversations.

Those that make a reservation and attend will be paid $25 for their participation with the first meeting happening at the Euclid City Board of Education, 651 E. 222nd Street, at 11 a.m. on Jan. 17, followed by another meeting the following day at the Shore Cultural Centre.

According to Yvonka Hall, executive director of the Northeast Ohio Black Health Coalition, air quality sensors in East Cleveland, Maple Heights and Euclid have been indicating more pollutants, which have been shown to contribute to worse health outcomes for the people living in those communities…
