Love is about to be in the air at Westside Bowl in anticipation of Valentine’s Day, especially for local animals in need.
Suzi Langer is the president of the Handicapped Pets Foundation, a nationwide organization that provides wheelchairs to pets.
She’s a Youngstown native and former vet technician.
“I adopted a paralyzed pug puppy. I started researching wheelchairs for pets, and realized how expensive they are,” Langer said. “I found the Handicapped Pet Foundation, and they were looking for board members in 2021 and they voted me on. Then I became president last April.”…
