Youngstown police find heroin after man leads them on foot chase on North Side

YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) — Reports said police Tuesday afternoon found heroin and over $1,100 cash after a foot chase through the parking lot of a North Side McDonald’s.

Rishun Jones, 20, was booked into the Mahoning County jail on charges of possession of heroin, a second-degree felony; tampering with evidence, a third-degree felony; and obstructing official business, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Reports said police tried to pull over a car Jones was driving about 3:55 p.m. that was spotted speeding on Arlington Street. The car failed to stop and pulled into the McDonald’s on Fifth Avenue, going very fast…
