$14 million senior care facility planned in Coshocton: What you need to know

  • GentleBrook is opening The HomeStead of Coshocton at 4821 Genesis Drive. The 52,700-square-feet facility with 58 beds should be open in spring 2026. It’s off U.S. 36 on Genesis Drive.
  • The project is estimated at $14 million with funding from Peoples Bank and the Coshocton Foundation. It’s the second such facility GentleBrook has, with one opened in Hartville in 2017.

COSHOCTON − GentleBrook has announced the construction of a new $14 million senior care facility in Coshocton.

The HomeStead of Coshocton will be a 58-bed unit with 52,700 square feet located at 4821 Genesis Drive, near Coshocton Genesis Medical Center and just off U.S. 36. It will sit on a 5.5-acre lot purchased from Coshocton Christian Tabernacle.

The facility will have 32 assisted living units and 26 secure memory care units, for people with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. A licensed nurse will be on-site around the clock, as well as a staff of wellness aides, according to a news release…
