Men’s Golf Begins Busy Stretch Saturday at Virtues Intercollegiate

The Youngstown State men’s golf team will begin a busy stretch of two tournaments in four days when it opens play on Saturday in the Virtues Intercollegiate hosted by Miami and Bowling Green at The Virtues Golf Club in Nashport, Ohio.

The Penguins will play 54 holes over the two-day event on Saturday and Sunday before traveling to Hinckley, Ohio, to compete in Cleveland State’s Tom Tontimonia Invitational at Pine Hills Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday.

In its most recent tournament, YSU finished 11th at the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational on Sept. 9-10. Playing in his second collegiate tournament, true freshman Jordan Kish finished tied for 29th to pace the Penguins on the individual leaderboard.
