MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. – The RMU Golf team competed for four rain-soaked straight days as they played in the Virtues Intercollegiate and the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational.
Chuck Tragesser opened the weekend by shooting even the first round and a -7 in the second round at Virtues Gold Course in Nashport, Ohio on Saturday and Sunday, trying for first overall in a field of 91 players. He was one of 13 golfers that shot under par for the event, which was cut to two rounds due to weather.
The Colonials then went Mystic Rock for the Nemacolin Collegiate Invitational on Monday and Tuesday. Ben Sheridan improved each of the three rounds, finishing with a +10 for 31st overall. Sheridan and Tragesser had RMU’s best round with a +1…
