Beach Boys Star Al Jardine Sued for Refusing to Sign Merchandise

Former Beach Boys member Al Jardine is facing legal trouble after a man named Mead Chasky filed a lawsuit against him. According to the suit, Jardine agreed to sign merchandise advertised as “signed by three members of The Beach Boys.”

However, Chasky alleges that Jardine reneged on his agreement and refused to sign the memorabilia. As a result, Chasky is suing Jardine for $100,000 and legal fees.

Jardine has yet to respond to the lawsuit. He co-founded the Beach Boys in 1961 and remains a member of the group, performing with them periodically. Despite some infighting within the band, Jardine recently released a single and donated proceeds to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
