Additional Coverage:

At the PNC Championship, 15-year-old Charlie Woods made history by scoring his first hole-in-one in the event. Using a 7-iron, he sank the shot from 175 yards on the fourth hole.

Charlie’s impressive shot moved him and his father, Tiger Woods, to the top of the leaderboard with a score of 17 under. This put them ahead of Bernhard Langer and his son, Jason, who were paired with Team Woods.

Tiger Woods, who achieved his first hole-in-one in 1996, expressed his pride in his son’s accomplishment. Charlie joked that he was “broke” and couldn’t afford to treat his father to a drink.

According to NBC reporter Bones Mackay, Tiger Woods’ joy on the golf course was evident after Charlie’s hole-in-one.
