Martial arts legend and actor Chuck Norris announced the passing of his mother, Wilma Norris Knight, at the age of 103. In a heartfelt social media post, Norris shared that his mother passed away on Wednesday.

Norris described his mother as a beacon of faith and love, whose laughter and hugs brought joy and safety to their home. He credited her with teaching him the importance of kindness and compassion.

Norris Knight’s Life and Legacy

Wilma Norris Knight lived an extraordinary life. Born in the Dust Bowl during the Great Depression, she faced numerous hardships, including being given away as a ward of the state at age 8. Despite her challenges, she raised three boys alone after her husband abandoned her.

Knight published a book in 2011 titled “Acts of Kindness: My Story,” which shared her Christian faith and inspired countless readers. Her son, Chuck Norris, promoted her work and sold autographed copies on his website.

Knight passed away as the last survivor of her biological family. She outlived her two husbands, a stepson, two grandchildren, and Norris’ younger brother. Norris praised her as an example of perseverance and faith.
